PM Interiors

A custom project management platform for an interior construction company in London.

Context

PM Interiors is an interior construction company based in London, running many projects at the same time. Budgets, workers, hours and expenses were tracked in Excel and on paper, and as the number of projects grew, it became almost impossible to see where each job stood or how much it was really costing.

My Role

I designed and built a private platform around how the team runs its sites. Each project has its own budget, timeline and team, with every worker’s rate recorded. Hours are logged daily, and at the end of each week the system calculates what every person is owed. A timesheet section keeps the full work history, while each project has an expenses section where costs are added and automatically deducted from the budget.

The Platform

The interface is built for busy site managers: clear project overviews, quick hour logging and simple expense entry, with receipts attached. Budgets, costs and progress are visible at a glance, so decisions are based on real numbers instead of estimates.

Outcome

Delivered in four weeks, the platform now manages over 20 projects at the same time from London. Weekly pay is calculated automatically, spending is tracked against every budget in real time, and the team no longer relies on spreadsheets or paper. I continue to maintain the platform as their internal operations tool.
